With a career spanning over three decades in academia, research, and university leadership, I am passionate about advancing science, mentoring future leaders, and driving institutional transformation. My journey has taken me from Jos to the global stage, promoting excellence in research, education, and women’s empowerment.
I’ve published over 34 scholarly articles, mentored numerous students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and contributed to national and regional academic policy through roles in WARIMA, SARIMA, and multiple university boards and councils. Beyond academia, I advocate for gender equity, youth empowerment, and community development. I am a proud mentor, a woman of faith, and a lifelong learner who loves traveling, gospel music, and the joy of seeing people grow.

With a career spanning over three decades, I have held pivotal roles such as Head of the Department of Microbiology and Acting Director of Linkages. My leadership has been instrumental in curriculum development, fostering research initiatives, and establishing international collaborations.
My research focuses on infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, and phytomedicine, with over 40 publications in peer-reviewed journals. I have secured and managed significant research grants, contributing to advancements in medical microbiology and public health.
Beyond academia, I am committed to community service and women's empowerment. I have received accolades such as the He4She Certificate of Award for Women Empowerment Activism, reflecting my dedication to fostering inclusive growth and development.
